The program is during the activation of the licence saving information about the PC, on which has been the program installed. If you want to instar the program in version Home or Professional on another computer, first you have to apply for deactivation of your licence number. So-called version Lite can be installed on any count of computers in one time (indeed without the posibility to connect it with ergemeter), versions Home and Professional just on one PC. What shall I do, if I want to install UniVET on another PC?
In which languages ist this program currently available?
UniVET Systm 2009 offers to choose the language directly by installation. It is possible to choose from English, German or Czech. In these language mutations is also available the complete user manual.
How is the difference between Box Distribution of the program, OEM or Electronic Distribution?
The program may be obtained in OEM Distribution only together with ergometer DAUM, eventualy KETTLER. This distribution is the full-valued Home Version of the program UniVET, in the package you can find 1 DVD, short user manual how to connect ergometer to the pc and with the software. The Box Distribution offers all comfort - package with 3 DVDs, conntcting cable (ethernet in case of DAUM), printed user manual. Electronic Distribution by contrast offers just the licence number, which is sent per eMail. Installation and virtual tracks is necesarry to download on internet.
Why are differences on display of ergometer and UniVET System?
UniVET System can’t set up values on the ergometer display. System only sets up load on the ergometer. Ergometer is processing the speed, calorie and distance independently according to certain model. Problem is that this model counts on constant zero upgrade and constant gear. On the contrary the UniVET system works with all parameters and therefore actual speed, moved distance and the like can be completely different. The basic rule therefore is: As soon as you have started the UniVET system, monitor actual information on the computer and not on the ergometer display.

Can I somehow film my favorite route on the video and this route then start in the UniVET system?
Yes, you already can. With the version UniVET System 2009 is possible to create in route editor the route profile or better still to import record from GPS and then with help of synchronizing points to synchronize the video record with route profile. You find more in the online manual for the route editor.
Can I use my own bicycle in the combination with some cycling simulator and in such way being able to use the UniVET system?
You can’t. On the principle you can’t operate classical mechanical driving simulators with the help of the computer. Some have the output into the computer, but these do not fulfill from 95% the accuracy of the load setting, which is absolutely essential for good-quality simulation with the help of the system. The KETTLER and DAUM ergometers use induction brake with the accuracy 5 Watts and with very fast responding, which is absolutely essential for our purposes.
